Single tickets up can be purchased in the ticket office at Llanberis or in advance by telephone with a credit/debit card (subject to a £3.50 booking fee).

Can I get a single ticket down?
Single tickets down are only available on a standby, first come, first served basis at the destination station of the day (Summit or Clogwyn) and walkers should be aware that there is no guarantee of there being trains with available seats on the mountain at any given time. The first train is scheduled to leave Llanberis at 09.00 am with later trains running at frequent intervals subject to customer demand. It is advisable to call us before setting off to avoid disappointment.

How long can I stay at the Summit Building, Hafod Eryri?
A return ticket allows for an approximate 30 minute stop at the summit before returning on the same train (This is the only logistical way we can guarantee to bring you back down the mountain as there may not be availability or trains later in the day and with the weather able to change very quickly train services maybe stopped at short notice).
