Times and Prices
Tickets for the train can be purchased in the ticket office at Llanberis Station or in advance by telephone (0871 720 0033) using a credit/debit card.
During school holidays, or on fine weather days, the railway can be extremely
busy and advance booking is recommended.
Single tickets to come down the mountain by train are sold on a standby basis
at Clogwyn and the Summit.
Please note we do not accept telephone bookings on the day of travel.

Operating Days and Departure Times
Trains run everyday from 15th March to the first week of November inclusive subject to weather conditions and minimum passenger numbers.The first departure of the day is scheduled for 9am and trains run at regular intervals subject to minimum passenger numbers. During busy periods trains can run every 30 minutes with the last possible departure at 5pm. To check the times of departures on the day of travel, and the last expected departure, please call 0871 720 0033. Please note that
telephone bookings cannot be made on the same day of travel.
Clogwyn will be the termination point prior to completion of the Summit construction. Once the Summit building is accessible, trains will run there every operational day subject to weather conditions. In the event of high winds on the mountain that prevent the train from reaching the Summit, the trains will terminate at Clogwyn.
Trains
Trains may be operated with either diesel or steam traction subject to daily traffic plan.Dogs & Luggage
Only officially registered support dogs can be allowed on trains and bulky luggage cannot be carried.Car Park
There are pay and display car parks near to the railway. For disabled
passengers, there is a drop off point outside the station and two disabled
parking bays.
Disabled passengers
Disabled passengers requiring the wheelchair accessible carriage should
telephone in advance to discuss their particular requirements. There
are disabled toilets at both Llanberis Station and the Summit. The
wheelchair carriage is fully ramped.
