Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement.
A valid ticket must be purchased prior to boarding the train.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable
We will not take responsibility for delayed arrival or non-attendance by you, caused by bad weather, traffic conditions or any other factors that delay your arrival. We will be under no obligation to offer any refund if you fail to arrive on time for a time specific booking, or if your visit is cancelled due to factors outside our control.
The company cannot accept any responsibility for costs incurred if persons are unable to purchase tickets after travelling to the railway.
Tickets down the mountain, sold at the Summit or Clogwyn, are sold on a first come first served basis when available. We have no responsibility to transport people off the mountain although, if there is sufficient capacity available, we will endeavour to assist whenever possible.
Any passengers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
We reserve the right to close, temporarily withdraw or alter any of the facilities without prior notice due to inclement weather, technical, capacity or operational reasons. Should your time specific booked train be cancelled by us, we will endeavour to offer an alternative time. If this is not possible a full refund will be made.
Bookings cannot be cancelled, transferred or amended. No refunds are available. Snowdon Mountain Railway reserves the right to cancel any event. If weather conditions become severe and trains cannot proceed to the summit they will terminate at Clogwyn Station (3/4 distance up Snowdon) or Rocky Valley (5/8 up Snowdon) . In the event of such conditions you will be offered a full refund before travel or a partial refund should you still decide to travel. (excluding any booking fees).
The company shall in no circumstances be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense or any consequential or indirect loss or damage of any kind.
The company cannot accommodate dogs (unless they are registered support dogs) or bulky luggage. Personal items such as pushchairs, buggies and luggage that are left in Llanberis are left at the owners’ risk.
The site car park in Llanberis is operated by Parking Eye limited. Charges for overstays and non-payments are levied by Parking Eye Limited. The company accepts no liability for vehicles or their contents, which are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
4. Promotional Codes & Voucher Codes
The company reserves the right to cancel or amend promotional/voucher codes and their terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your statutory rights are not affected.
From time to time the company or other authorised parties carry out photography and/or video recording within the site, which may feature visitors. Entry to the site is deemed acceptance of these regulations and you therefore agree that Snowdon Mountain Railway or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Snowdon Mountain Railway or such authorised party.
