To the rooftop of Wales After the immensely hard work of our Permanent Way team we are now running a daily service to the summit of Snowdon. It took the team 4 weeks to dig 5 miles of snow off the track in extreme weather conditions. It then took the team a further ten days to prepare the building ready for opening.

2012 season opens 17th March Snowdon Mountain Railway will open for the 2012 season on March 17th when trains will run to Clogwyn. We look forward to welcoming old friends and new travellers. If the weather remains mild we will also hope to start running to the summit earlier than is traditional. Any news on this will be posted ...
