Snowdon Mountain Railway can offer tremendous value for the group organiser.
Coaches can disembark their clients safely only 30 metres from our ticket office and there is coach parking in Llanberis.
Prior to departure, your clients can enjoy a free visit to the Snowdon Mountain Railway film theatre and enjoy our 13 minute presentation which explains the history of Snowdon Mountain Railway.
If time allows prior to departure, your clients will enjoy browsing through our range of quality souvenirs in our railway themed shop packed with locally produced Welsh products.
Your clients may prefer to enjoy a visit to the Station Buffet, our quality cafe serving an extensive range of quality snacks throughout the day. We also have the Platform Grill serving a range of quality Welsh products, available to eat either inside the cafe or outside in our picnic area.
In early season (March and April) trains terminate at the three quarter point on the mountain – Clogwyn.
From May trains terminate at the fantastic new Snowdon summit visitor centre – Hafod Eryri. This fabulous new building at the summit of Snowdon opened to the public for the first time in 2009.
The journey to the roof of Wales takes one hour and your clients will enjoy a thirty minute stopover before their journey back to Llanberis. Hafod Eryri now includes some exciting audio visual and interactive experiences for the visitor.
Hafod Eryri serves a full range of hand held savouries, cakes and delicious coffee from the new Cafe Copa and a range of quality gifts and souvenirs from the Copa Siop.
After the 30 minute stopover, your clients will travel back to Llanberis and arrive two and a half hours after departure which surely makes this one of the best value trips for the group organiser in North Wales.
